Gil, an Israeli traveller, whose path crossed with Karo’s in the Namibian desert. Gil was probably one of the most interesting men Karo had met in her lifetime. Most likely that’s why she followed his invitation of joining him on a “river bank safari” with his 4×4. Gil and Karo spent a few days together in which not many words have been spoken, but a lot has been said … 🙂
