Mama and Baba Albansko, this beautiful couple touched Karo’s soul in so many ways that it’s difficult to describe. From the moment they met in the Albanian highlands there was a deep bond between Karo and her Albanian parents. Although Karo didn’t speak Albanian and they didn’t speak English Karo spent 3 days in Mama and Baba Albansko’s home. They communicated with sign language and sparkling eyes (and they still communicate like that on whatsapp). The couple saved Karo from an approaching thunderstorm which lasted for 2 days. For Karo it was (and still is) an indescribable beautiful experience to feel their true love and care. It is especially heart-warming if you consider that this wonderful people had hardly enough to sustain themselves, but yet they wanted to share everything they had with Karo … One Love! 🙂
