Bessy and Ioannis, Karo’s Greek parents, treated Karo like their daughter. It is hard to describe how adorable, lovely and warm-hearted their beautiful souls are. They hosted Karo in their summer house as well as in Athens, where they even spent Xmas together. Ioannis, Karo’s Greek father, almost passed out when he heard about Karo’s plans of continuing cycling in Africa. He heavily protested and Karo so loves him for that, but as we know, she has her on head and so she went without his permission 😉 Bessy and Ioannis have been so incredibly good to Karo that she hopes that one day she can give it all back when they come to visit her in Austria 🙂
