Ibrahim and Maria, among the first people Karo came across in Mozambique and they immediately catapulted themselves into Karo’s little but spacious heart. They did not just host and feed Karo, they made her feel like their own daughter. Maria would do almost everything to ensure Karo’s wellbeing (that she proved especially when she waited 5 hours at the airport to receive her delayed and beloved daughter with arms wide open). Karo doesn’t have a word to say, because she is still speechless, touched by their enormous kindness … 🙂
