Ricardo and Aline, this gorgeous, funny, colorful and fascinating Colombian-Brazilian couple were Karo’s AirBnB hosts in Tofo BUT it would be unfair to “just” classify them as Karo’s AirBnB hosts. Karo so much enjoyed their company and traveler spirit and already included them in her list of really good friends and humans she definitely hopes to cross path with again (some day). Karo had an amazing month in their home, enjoyed great conversations, lovely meals and adventures and she also learnt a lot from them. Karo learnt a lot about South America. She learnt that it is possible to find a partner who shares similar traveling dreams, life expectations and that it is really beautiful, but also very challenging to travel as a couple. And Karo also learnt (that is probably the most important lesson of all) that she will never ever (regardless HOW broke she is) work as a English teacher for Chinese pre-school kids unless she wants to end up like a complete nutcase …
